This website consists of information about the Home School Band program offered to all home school students interested in receiving a musical education through playing in the following groups: Cadet Band, Apprentice Band,and Concert Band. This information will assist you in searching for musical opportunities for your child (or children).
The Home School Bands of Southern New Jersey is a music program based in Haddon Heights, New Jersey and is available to all area home schooled children. This music program will help children develop as young musicians, build personal character, and encourage self-discipline. Through performing numerous concerts each year these students learn to develop teamwork and the ability to grow with each performance. This music program strives to help each student reach his or personal goal as a musician and as a person. The Home School Bands was founded in 1998 and is planning its 9th season in the fall of 2006.
The Home School Bands of Southern New Jersey is located in Haddon Heights, NJ, Camden County. Haddon Heights is approximately 15 minutes from the City of Philadelphia and 10 minutes from Cherry Hill, NJ. The bands rehearse at the St. Mary's Episcopal Church of Haddon Heights on the White Horse Pike. For directions, click here to be taken to the church's website.
