Band Descriptions
Apprentice
Band: Students previously in Beginner band
and new students are asked to attend the September 11 Apprentice practice.
Students may be moved up to Concert Band as deemed suitable by the Director
Concert
Band: Students previously in Intermediate, Advanced and Jazz bands
will be participating in the Concert band for the Fall season, and will
start their practices on September 18.
Jazz
Band is available for those students who are already playing at
the intermediate level. A Jazz band member must be enrolled in the concert
band season. Enrollment in this band is by invitation
only. (We hope to resume jazz band soon)
Small
Ensembles. A variety of musical ensembles
are available for those who desire a greater challenge and want to excel
musically. Ensembles being offered are: Small brass group, Small Woodwind
group, Percussion ensemble & Flute ensemble. Enrollment in these groups
is by audition or invitation only.
